Description
Based in Winchester, Fish HR and Training is a Human Resource and Training consultancy dedicated to supporting small and medium sized businesses in Hampshire, Wiltshire and Dorset that cannot justify the fixed overhead of a permanent HR manager, but who nevertheless recognise the benefit of having access to an HR expert who can come to site to deal with its HR matters and act as an "in-house" member of staff when the need arises.

By providing its clients with the flexibility to "turn off the meter" when support is not required, Fish HR and Training offers a highly cost-effective service.

Fish HR and Training supports its clients in a number of different ways, although most of its clients use it to provide HR advice and support on an on-going basis for everyday people management issues. Support of this kind is mostly given via telephone and email, as well as being on-site for meetings as and when required.

Some clients, however, prefer Fish HR and Training to have a regular on-site presence of perhaps one day a week or two days a month, to deal with HR and training related issues that may arise and to act as a point of reference for staff.

Fish HR and Training can also support businesses on a temporary basis, by acting as an “extra pair of hands” for its clients' own HR staff during peak periods or providing temporary cover during periods of maternity/ sickness absence.
